Transferring a producer to another account

Ownership transfers are done by NYIOOC administrators. Here's what moves and what stays.

Updated

Sometimes a producer needs to move to a different account: for example, when a producer takes over management from its importer, or a company changes who handles the competition.

How to request a transfer

  1. Open Support and start a new conversation.

  2. Name the producer to move.

  3. Give the email address of the account that should receive it. That person needs to have signed in to My NYIOOC with that address.

  4. Make sure both the current owner and the new owner agree to the move.

What moves to the new owner

  • The producer and its brands

  • Its historical and private results

  • Its current entries and linked shipments

  • All unused entry credits of the current account, including credits that were bought for its other producers. Their expiry dates don't change.

What stays

  • The original buyer keeps access to its orders and invoices in Billing.

  • Records imported from the older Producer Tools site aren't changed by a transfer. Ask support if older history is involved.
