Cultivars, blends and monovarietal oils
How to record the olive varieties in your oil, and when cultivars can no longer be changed.
When you add or edit a brand, first choose whether the oil is a Blend or a Monovarietal. Then choose the cultivars from the list.
Oil type | Cultivars you can choose |

Monovarietal | Exactly one cultivar |
Blend | Up to four cultivars |
Brands that have won an award
Once a brand has won an award in any year, its cultivars and blend choice can only be changed by a NYIOOC administrator. If you need to correct them, contact support from the Support page. Brands that competed without winning can still be edited by you.
My cultivar isn't listed
Contact support with the name of the cultivar. The competition team can add it to the list.
