An overview of every stage, from setting up your profiles to promoting your award.
Here's how a competition year works in My NYIOOC. Each step links to a detailed article.
Set up your profiles. Add the producer that makes the oil and a brand for each oil. See Adding and completing a producer profile and Adding a brand.
Buy entries while registration is open. Choose how many oils you're entering and pay by an available payment method. See How to enter the competition.
Choose your brands. After payment is confirmed, select existing brands or create new ones for your entries.
Ship your samples during the shipping period. Prepare a shipment in Sample Shipping, download your shipping document and send your samples. See How to ship your samples.
Watch for receipt. You're notified when NYIOOC receives your samples. See What happens when your samples arrive.
Get your results. You're notified when your result is released. See When are results released?
Promote your award. If your oil wins, use the Promote page and your Official Guide listing. See Promoting your win.
