When registration opens and closes
Registration dates are set for each competition year and hemisphere. Here's how to find the dates that apply to you.
The NYIOOC has a Northern Hemisphere and a Southern Hemisphere edition. Each has its own registration, shipping and judging dates, which the competition team sets for every competition year.
Which hemisphere is my oil in?
Your brand's country of origin decides its hemisphere. You can't choose a different hemisphere for a brand. For example, a brand from Spain can only be entered while Northern Hemisphere registration is open.
Finding the current dates
When registration is open, you can enter from Enter competition.
When it's closed, the same page shows Registration is currently closed and the next opening date, if it has been announced.
Use Add to calendar to save the opening date to your calendar.
Shipping has its own dates
Samples can only be shipped during the shipping period for your entry's year and hemisphere. Sample Shipping shows the shipping period. See How to ship your samples.
