Who can enter the NYIOOC?
Which companies and which olive oils are eligible to take part.
Extra virgin olive oil brands may be entered by any company or organization responsible for the brand in the market. That can be a farm, mill, cooperative, bottler, importer, distributor or marketer.
Which oils are eligible
Only extra virgin olive oils without any additives can be entered.
Each sample must be sent in its branded retail packaging.
Where your oil can come from
Each brand belongs to a country of origin, and that country decides whether the brand competes in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere edition. See When registration opens and closes.
