What happens when your samples arrive
How NYIOOC checks in your samples and how you're told.
When your box arrives, NYIOOC staff check in your samples brand by brand.
When a brand is checked in
The brand shows Received in My Entries and Brands.
You get a notification on your dashboard and by email.
If you sent several small packages of one brand, they're checked in together as one sample.
Delivery is not the same as check-in
Your courier or the UPS tracking may show your box as delivered before staff have checked in your samples. Your entries change to Received only when staff record it.
What happens next
After check-in, your samples are prepared for the judges and the entry moves to Analysis Pending. Your producer and brand information is also reviewed by the editors at this stage. See How judging works.
